Monday...

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for moderate snow, which is in effect from noon
today to noon MST Monday.

* Impacts... moderate snowfall with blowing and drifting snow will
accumulate on roadways and may reduce visibility, making travel
difficult.

* Timing... noon today through noon Monday.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches. Higher amounts will be from
Atomic City to Craters of the Moon. Lower amounts will be along
the I-15 corridor particularly south of Idaho Falls.

* Confidence... low to moderate from Firth to Idaho Falls because
of snow levels. Moderate to high from Atomic City to Craters of
the Moon.

* Locations... Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Mud Lake, Atomic City and
Craters of the Moon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of moderate
to heavy snow along with blowing snow will cause travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving.
