... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to
6 PM MST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for moderate to heavy snow, which is in effect
from 6 PM this evening to 6 PM MST Monday.

* Impacts... moderate to heavy snowfall with blowing and drifting
snow will accumulate on roadways and may reduce visibility,
making travel difficult. Mountain passes may become difficult
to travel.

* Timing... 6 PM MST today through 6 PM MST Monday.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 6 in valleys and 6 to 12 inches in
the mountains.

* Confidence... moderate to high confidence on timing and amounts
low confidence for additional snow on Monday.

* Locations... Monida Pass, St. Anthony, Ashton, Ashton Hill,
Island park, Targhee Pass, Driggs, Victor and Pine Creek Pass.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of moderate
to heavy snow along with blowing snow will cause travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving.
