... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5 PM this afternoon to
5 PM MST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter

from 5 PM this afternoon to 5 PM MST Monday.

* Timing... snowfall rates will increase this afternoon... becoming
steady this evening. There will be moderate snow at times during
the event. Snowfall will decrease to snow showers Monday
evening.

* Total snowfall... 8 to 12 inches expected in The Tetons... 4 to 8
in the Gros ventres. 2 to 4 inches with localized amounts up to
6 inches expected in Jackson Valley.

* Wind and visibility... wind will gradually increase this
afternoon and continue into Monday. Expect a west to southwest
wind of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 to 40 mph. This will
result in blowing and drifting snow... along with lowered
visibility down to one quarter of a mile at times.

* Impacts... roads may become slick and snow packed with limited
visibility at times. Please monitor jhavalanche.Org if your
