... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 5 am Thursday to 11 am MST
Friday...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for snow and wind, which is in effect from 5 am
Thursday to 11 am MST Friday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer
in effect.

* Timing... snow will develop by dawn Thursday with snow heavy at
times into Thursday evening before gradually decreasing into
Friday morning.

* Snowfall accumulation... 5 to 9 inches with the heavier amounts
generally in the south half of the County.

* Wind and visibility... north 25 to 35 mph with gusts around 50
mph causing considerable blowing and drifting snow and near zero
visibility at times.

* Main impact... roads will become slick and snow covered. Strong
north wind will cause blowing and drifting snow Thursday. The
visibility will become significantly reduced in blowing snow.

blowing snow are expected or occurring. This could make travel
