... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 6 PM this evening to
midnight MDT Friday night...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for snow, which is in effect from 6 PM this evening
to midnight MDT Friday night. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer
in effect.

* Timing... a mix of rain and snow will change to all snow this
evening and continue through Friday.

* Snow accumulation... 5 to 9 inches, with the highest amounts in
the foothills of the bighorns.

* Main impact... slushy to snow packed roads will make travel
difficult.

* Other impacts... heavy snow will reduce visibility below a
quarter mile at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, and or
blowing snow are expected or occurring. This could make travel
very hazardous or impossible. If you must travel keep some food,
