... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Thursday evening through
late Friday night...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Winter
Storm Watch, which is in effect from Thursday evening through
late Friday night.

* Timing... snow will increase over Fremont County Thursday
afternoon. As the storm develops heavy snow will be possible
through Friday night.

* Snow accumulation... 6 to 12 inches below 6000 feet with 12 to 24
inches on The East Slope of the Wind River mountains including
South Pass.

* Main impact... slushy to snow packed roads will make travel
difficult, especially on South Pass.

* Other impacts... heavy snow will reduce visibility below a
quarter mile at times.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow and/or blowing snow that may impact travel. Continue to
