... High wind watch remains in effect from Sunday evening through
Monday afternoon...

* timing... Sunday evening through Monday afternoon.

* Winds... west to southwest winds 35 to 45 mph sustained with
gusts to 65 mph possible.

* Impacts... mainly to transportation on Interstate 80 and 25
across southeast Wyoming. Light weight and high profile vehicles
may encounter threat for blow off and blow overs.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph... or gusts of
58 mph or stronger may occur. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.

Issued: 6:10 PM MST Nov. 18, 2017 – National Weather Service

Gusty westerly winds of 45 to 55 mph will create poor visibility
in blowing snow along the Interstate 80 corridor between mile
markers 240 and 285 this evening. This includes the Arlington and
Elk Mountain areas.

Motorists driving along this stretch of Interstate 80 should
reduce speeds, be alert for rapidly changing visibility over short
distances, and allow extra travel time to reach destinations.
