the Gunnison river above Grand Junction
* until Monday evening.
* At 12 PM Thursday the stage was 10.9 feet.
* Bankfull stage is 8.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 11.3 feet by late this
Thursday afternoon.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... water nears the bottom of State Highway 141
bridge. Water reaches the base of the bridge near Redlands dam.

* Forecast... the Gunnison river has already peaked at Delta and will continue to fall.
