... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Monday evening through
Tuesday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a
Winter Storm Watch, which is in effect from Monday evening
through Tuesday afternoon.

* Locations
include... Durango... Rockwood... Bayfield... Ignacio... Arboles... and
Pagosa Springs.

* Timing... some snow showers are possible Monday afternoon... but
the threat of heavy wet snow is expected to occur Monday
evening through noon Tuesday.

* Snow accumulation... 4 to 8 inches possible.

* Winds... southwest 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Visibility... less than a mile at times in moderate to heavy
snow.

* Impacts... moderate snowfall and strong winds will quickly create
hazardous driving conditions.
