Issued: 7:27 PM MDT Aug. 29, 2016 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Denver Colorado has issued a

* small stream Flood Advisory for...
western Morgan County in northeastern Colorado...

* until 930 PM MDT

* at 725 PM MDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms between Weldona... Orchard... and Wiggins. This will
cause small stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to one inch
of rain has already fallen... and another one half to one inch can
be expected before the rain tapers off. This heavy rain is
falling in the same areas that received heavy rainfall last night.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wiggins... Goodrich... Orchard... Jackson Reservoir and Weldona.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Rock Creek...
Wildcat creek... Antelope Creek... Kiowa creek and Bijou creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... country roads... farmland... and other low lying
spots.
