Issued: 4:46 AM MDT Apr. 27, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MDT this
evening...

* timing... snow will be heavy at times this morning. Then snow
will decrease to showers through the afternoon.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches, with local amounts up to
one foot.

* Wind/visibility... west winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35
mph. Visibility may be reduced to one quarter mile in the
heavier snow showers.

* Impacts... colder temperatures will allow snow and slush to
accumulate on roads. Travelers headed into the Colorado high
country should be prepared for winter travel conditions.
Traction and chain Laws may be enacted over the High Mountain
passes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
