Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 3:16 AM MDT Mar. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until noon MDT
today...

* timing... bands of snow will continue to develop this morning and
continue through mid morning. In and around the Denver area the
heaviest snowfall will occur over southern portions of the Metro
area. From around Boulder north to Longmont lighter
precipitation with a mix of rain and snow is expected.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches, mainly south of Interstate 70.
Little if any snow accumulation is expected from around Boulder
north to Longmont.

* Wind/visibility... north 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph.
Visibilities could be under one quarter of a mile in heavier
snow.

* Impacts... snow, gusty winds and poor visibilities will create
hazardous winter driving conditions. Roads will be icy and
snow packed.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
