* Flash Flood Warning for...
southwestern Pecos County in southwestern Texas...
northeastern Brewster County in southwestern Texas...
west central Terrell County in southwestern Texas...

* until 445 PM CDT

* at 149 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Marathon and Longfellow.

This includes the following low water crossing location Ave d
crossing alsate creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate Route.

* at 149 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.

McDonald observatory and near Fort Davis. These storms were nearly
stationary.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Fort Davis, McDonald observatory, Camp Mitre Peak, Davis Mountains
State Park, bloys Camp, Black Mountain, Star Mountain, Buffalo trail
scout Camp, Indian Lodge and Fort Davis National historical site.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding and decreased visibility. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.
