southwestern Pecos County in southwestern Texas...
northeastern Brewster County in southwestern Texas...
west central Terrell County in southwestern Texas...

* until 445 PM CDT

* at 149 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to
begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Marathon and Longfellow.

This includes the following low water crossing location Ave d
crossing alsate creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate Route.

north central Terrell County in southwestern Texas...

* until 600 PM CDT

* at 354 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to one to two inches of rain has already fallen across some
areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Stockton, Bakersfield, Interstate 10 in and east of Fort
Stockton and US Highway 285 south of Fort Stockton.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

At 416 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorms
along Interstate 10 east of Fort Stockton and near Bakersfield.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Bakersfield.

This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 272 and 319.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding and greatly decreased visibility. Do not drive
your vehicle through flooded roadways.
