Flood Warning
Issued: 9:32 AM CST Jan. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Attoyac Bayou near Chireno, Texas.
* Until Wednesday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 830 am Monday the stage was 15.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14 feet.
* Forecast... The Bayou will continue to fall to below flood stage by
early Wednesday morning. Also The Bayou crested at 17.6 feet
during last Friday, January 20 in the wee hours of that morning.
* Impact... at 14.0 feet... expect lowland flooding for the next several
days of the heavily wooded floodplain. Ranchers that have cattle
and equipment near the river should move them to higher ground.
