southeastern Payne County in central Oklahoma...

* until 1045 PM CDT

* at 950 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles northwest of Agra to near Wellston, moving
east at 25 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Cushing, Chandler, Perkins, Stroud, Davenport, Wellston, Carney,
Tryon, Agra, Sparks, Warwick, Kendrick, Fallis, Avery and Parkland.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 152 and 182.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

... Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 am CDT Thursday...

The Flood Watch for flash flooding... flooding of creeks and
rivers... and flooding of low lying areas continues for

* portions of central Oklahoma, east central Oklahoma, and
southeast Oklahoma, including the following areas, in central
Oklahoma, Cleveland, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, Payne,
and Pottawatomie. In east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc and
Seminole. In southeast Oklahoma, Hughes.

* Until 7 am CDT Thursday

* thunderstorms will occur this evening into the night over areas
that have already seen heavy rainfall amounts. This increases
the potential for flooding or flash flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop. Be especially
cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of
