... Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 1 am CDT Saturday...

* event... south winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 to 35 mph this
afternoon will continue through this evening ahead of an
approaching area of low pressure. Winds should gradually
diminish late in the evening as showers and thunderstorms
overspread the area.

* Timing... through 1 am CDT Saturday.

* Impact... winds will likely produce a rough chop on area lakes
and open waterways, which may be hazardous to boaters on small
craft.
