... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Saturday morning through
Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Saturday morning through
Sunday morning.

* Timing... Saturday and Saturday night.

* Precip type... expect snow to develop around 7 am Saturday and
diminish around 7 am Sunday.

* Accumulations... snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches are
expected, with the potential for higher amounts.

* Impacts... the potential exists for very difficult to impossible
driving conditions due to reduction in visibility along with
slick roadways. Strong north winds will cause drifting of snow.
Power outages may occur.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
