... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 445 am CDT for
northeastern Jefferson... southeastern Stephens and southern Carter
counties...

At 230 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area have decreased. Up to three inches of
rain have already fallen across the warned area and excessive runoff
from heavy rainfall will result in a continued flood or flash flood
threat.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lone Grove, Healdton, Wilson, Ringling, Springer, Graham, Milo,
Cornish and Fox.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* flood advisory for...
southeastern Jefferson County in southern Oklahoma...
Love County in southern Oklahoma...
southern Carter County in southern Oklahoma...

* until 445 am CDT

* at 109 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen across portions of
the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Ardmore, Marietta, Lone Grove, Dickson, Thackerville, Terral, Gene
Autry, Leon, Overbrook, Rubottom, Lake Murray, Burneyville, Grady,
Oscar, Courtney and Petersburg.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying

... Flood Watch in effect from 7 PM CDT this evening through
Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flood Watch for flash flooding... flooding of creeks and
rivers... and flooding of low lying areas for portions of east
central Oklahoma, southeast Oklahoma, and southern Oklahoma,
including the following areas, in east central Oklahoma,
Pontotoc. In southeast Oklahoma, Atoka, Bryan, Coal, Hughes,
Johnston, and Marshall. In southern Oklahoma, Carter, Garvin,
Love, and Murray.

* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Sunday morning

* areas of 1 to 3 inches of rain are expected across parts of
southern Oklahoma overnight.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
