Issued: 8:35 PM CDT Apr. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Black River at Black Rock.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 19.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 23.0 feet by
Friday evening. However, potentially heavy rainfall is expected
this weekend that could push the crests higher. Please monitor
latest forecasts for any updates.
* Impacts at 20.0 feet... agricultural land is flooding along both
banks of the river in Lawrence, Independence, and Jackson counties.
Minor flooding in Powhatan community and courthouse State Park.

The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a
* flood advisory for
the Spring River at Imboden.
* Until Friday morning.
* At 7:45 PM Wednesday the stage was 9.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 14.0 feet Thursday evening.
However, potentially heavy rainfall is expected this weekend that
could push the crest higher. Please monitor latest forecasts for
any updates. If the crest is expected to go above flood stage
this flood advisory will be upgraded to a Flood Warning.
