Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 9:57 PM CST Feb. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM CST
Friday...

* snow accumulation... 3 to 5 inches with locally higher amounts.

* Timing... light snow will continue through the overnight hours
and taper off Friday afternoon.

* Winds... north at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 40 mph.

* Impacts... travel will become dangerous as roads become snow-
covered and slick. Falling and blowing snow will reduce
visibilities. Air travel could also be affected at regional
airports.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
periods of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities... and use caution while driving.
