... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 6 PM Thursday to 9 PM CST
Friday...

The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect from
6 PM Thursday to 9 PM CST Friday.

* Impact... snow and blowing snow will cause travel impacts.

* Snow accumulation... generally 5 to 7 inches.

* Winds... northwest winds at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 40
mph.

* Timing... rain will change to snow Thursday night and snow will continue
into Friday evening.

* Temperatures... high temperatures will be in the upper 30s
Thursday, cool into the mid 20s Thursday night and only reach
around 30 degrees on Friday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow is expected
or occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This will make
travel very hazardous or impossible.
