... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Tuesday evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of north central Kansas and northeast Kansas...
including the following areas... in north central Kansas...
Clay... cloud... Ottawa... Republic and Washington. In northeast
Kansas... Marshall... Nemaha... Pottawatomie and Riley.

* Flash Flood Watch in effect from 5 PM CDT this afternoon
through 7 PM CDT Tuesday.

* Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and tonight
across north central Kansas. Some of these locations already
received 1 to 5 inches of rain Sunday evening therefore the
ground is saturated. An additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall
will be possible through Tuesday evening. This additional rain
could result in flash flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
