... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 900 am CDT for
Cherokee County...

At 513 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated that some areas received over
five inches of rain last night from thunderstorms. This is likely
causing some residual flooding in low lying and flood prone areas.

This warning includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...
Highway 7 at little Cherry Creek north of Columbus.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
