... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 3 am to 9 PM akst
Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow which is in effect
from 3 am to 9 PM akst Thursday. The Winter Storm Watch is no
longer in effect.

* Snow... 4 to 8 inches.

* Blowing snow... reducing visibility to one half mile or less at
times.

* Winds... east 15 to 25 mph gusting to 40 mph.

* Timing... conditions will deteriorate overnight, then improve
late Thursday as the winds and snow diminish.

* Impacts... visibility may be greatly reduced. Travel and outdoor
activities will be difficult.
