... Freezing fog advisory will expire at 9 am CST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect until 11 am CST this morning.

* Visibility... visibility will vary considerably over short
distances and will frequently be reduced to less than a quarter
mile. Temperatures will slowly rise above freezing in most
areas... however some freezing fog will be possible in a few
locations over the next hour.

* Impacts... reduced visibility will make driving difficult this
morning. Some pockets of freezing fog may cause some slick
spots on elevated Road surfaces like bridges and overpasses.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
