The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northeast Kansas and Missouri... including the
following areas... in northeast Kansas... Atchison KS and
Doniphan. In Missouri... Adair... Andrew... Atchison MO...
Buchanan... Caldwell... Chariton... Clinton... Daviess... De Kalb...
   Gentry... Grundy... Harrison... Holt... Linn MO... Livingston...
Macon... Mercer... Nodaway... Putnam... Randolph... Schuyler...
Sullivan and Worth.

* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Thursday morning

* a stalled front across northern to central Missouri will lead to
repeated rounds of strong thunderstorms tonight... particularly in
areas along and north of the I-70 corridor. Widespread rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected with locally higher amounts
possible.

* Widespread excessive rainfall could lead to flash flooding of
creeks and streams... as well as other low-lying areas and
urban locations. This may include areas that are not typically
flood prone.
