... High surf advisory remains in effect until noon akdt today...

* location... east of Solomon and including Golovin.

* High surf... is occuring.

* Timing... the highest surf has already occurred, and surf should
subside before noon today.

* Impacts... surf is expected to wash to the top of the beach
causing minor beach erosion. This could erode exposed Bluffs. This
could also damage boats or other objects left on the beach.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high surf advisory means that localized beach erosion is
expected. Precautions should be taken to protect property.

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a

* small stream flood advisory for rapid rises for...
interior and southern Seward Peninsula...

* until 230 PM akdt Monday

* a weather front moving over the southern Seward Peninsula has
brought 1 to 2 inches of rain today. Another one half inch of
rain is expected through Monday morning.

* Rapid rises on small streams draining the southern Seward
Peninsula will begin this evening and continue into Monday. Some
small streams are expected to rise overbank and result in minor
flooding. Many other streams and small rivers will be near
bankfull. Larger rivers in this area will experience sharp rises
over the next several day, but flooding of the larger rivers is
not expected at this time.

* People on the southern Seward Peninsula should be prepared for
rising water and increased debris moving down streams and
rivers.
