The Flood Warning continues for
the Illinois River at La Salle.
* Until Wednesday afternoon.
* At 845 PM Saturday the stage was 22.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will remain steady near 22.7 feet through early
Sunday. The river will fall below flood stage late Wednesday
morning.
* Impact... at 22.0 feet... Riverside parking lot at Starved Rock State
Park floods.

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect until noon CST today.

* Timing... into Sunday morning.

* Visibilities... less than 1/4 mile at times.

* Impacts... hazardous driving conditions. Slick roadways are
also possible where temperatures are near freezing.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
