the Mississippi River at Camanche
* until further notice.
* At 12:30 PM Tuesday the stage was 14.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Recent activity... the river will rise over the next 7 days.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Sunday evening... and continue
rising to 17.6 feet Tuesday morning.
* This forecast is based on routed flow from upstream in combination
with forecast rainfall. Consequently there is limited confidence
in the river reaching flood stage.

the Mississippi River at Fulton ld13
* until further notice.
* At 12:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 12.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible.
* Recent activity... the river will be rising over the next 7 days.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Monday evening... and continue
rising to 16.1 feet Tuesday morning.
* This forecast is based on routed flow from upstream in combination
with forecast rainfall. Consequently there is limited confidence
in the river reaching flood stage.

... A line of showers capable of producing brief funnel clouds will
affect northeastern Rock Island... Whiteside... Jo Daviess... eastern
Henry... Carroll... Bureau... Stephenson... eastern Jackson and eastern
Clinton counties...

At 824 PM CDT... a line of showers was located from Galena, to Mount
Carroll and Kewanee, moving east at 15 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Clinton, Freeport, Sterling, Kewanee, Rock Falls, Princeton,
Morrison, Galena, Mount Carroll, Geneseo, Fulton, Savanna, Lena,
Galva, Prophetstown, Stockton, Erie, Lanark, Warren and Walnut.

Funnel clouds of this nature are short lived and rarely touch the
ground. However, if you notice one approaching the ground, move
indoors to a place of safety.

The National Weather Service will continue to closely monitor the
situation. Please forward reports of funnel cloud sightings to the
nearest law enforcement agency for relay to the National Weather
Service.
