* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Thursday morning

* the combination of locally heavy rainfall earlier this morning
acting as a primer... and more thunderstorms developing by
tonight with heavy rainfall of 1 to 4 inches possible... may
lead to flash flooding.

* Flash flooding is possible along creeks... low lying areas...
and urban areas tonight where heavy rainfall occurs. Water may

Iowa... Muscatine and Washington counties until 900 PM CDT...

At 800 PM CDT... strong thunderstorms were clustered near
Richmond... or 7 miles northwest of Washington... moving east at 40
mph.

Wind gusts of over 35 mph and possibly up to 50 mph are possible
with this area of storms.

Locations impacted include...
Iowa City... Muscatine... Washington... Tipton... West Branch...
Wapello... Columbus Junction... Coralville... North Liberty...
West Liberty... Williamsburg... Wilton... Kalona... Tiffin... Wellman...
Lone Tree... Winfield... University Heights... Riverside and Fruitland.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 220 and 272.
