through Thursday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Illinois... north central Illinois and
northeast Illinois... including the following counties... in
central Illinois... Livingston. In north central Illinois... La
Salle and Lee. In northeast Illinois... Grundy and Kendall.

* From 1 am CDT Thursday through Thursday morning.

* Very heavy rainfall of 2 to 3 inches... or more... over short
periods of time from thunderstorms developing late tonight
into early tomorrow morning.

* Flash flooding is possible along creeks... streams... and other
low lying and flood prone areas. Water may also cover roads
along with rapid rises on local streams.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
