The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
northwestern La Salle County in north central Illinois...
southwestern De Kalb County in north central Illinois...
southern Lee County in north central Illinois...

* until 530 PM CDT Tuesday

* areas of flooding have been reported this morning due to heavy
rainfall over the past 24 hours. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches
fell across much of the warned area over the past 24 hours.
Additional rainfall is expected today and runoff from this will
continue to result in areal flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mendota... Shabbona... Walton... Amboy... Earlville... Waterman...
Leland... Paw Paw... Sublette... Compton... Troy Grove...
West Brooklyn and Harmon.
