The Flood Warning continues for
the Fox River near New Munster.
* At 4:00 am Sunday the stage was 11.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 11.9 feet by
after midnight tomorrow. The river will fall below flood stage
Thursday early afternoon.
* Impact... at 11.8 feet... this level is the 50 percent chance flood
meaning there is a 50 percent chance in any given year of the river
reaching this level. Floodwaters surround a home at the
intersection of Highway 50 and Highway W in the Wheatland area.

* At 830 PM Saturday the stage was 7.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 7.3 feet by early
Sunday. The river will fall below flood stage early Wednesday
morning.
* Impact... at 7.0 feet... water flows into surrounding farm and marsh
land near the river.
