Issued: 3:31 AM AKST Jan. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow now in
effect until 6 am akst Friday from Bethel west...

* location... from Bethel west... including Nunivak Island.

* Snow... 4-9 inches. Greatest amounts from Bethel west.

* Visibility... reduced to one half mile and lower at times.

* Wind... northeast wind 15 to 25 mph. Gusts to 40 mph developing
along the coast this morning.

* Timing... snow will continue to move into the Kuskokwim Delta and
increase in intensity this morning. Winds have already begun to
increase and will peak this evening before gradually diminishing
late tonight. The worst visibilities are expected to continue
over Mekoryuk though early Friday morning while visibilities
will decrease as far inland as Bethel by early to mid afternoon.
Snow will diminish Friday morning and winds will diminish around
the same time which should allow for blowing snow conditions to
subside.

* Impacts... travel may be difficult. Visibilities will be
limited in falling and blowing snow.
