... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 8 PM MST /7 PM PST/
this evening to 11 PM MST /10 PM PST/ Sunday...

* impacts/timing: snow will increase in the Clearwater and
Bitterroot Mountains around midnight. Five to eight inches of
snow are possible at Lolo and lookout passes by tomorrow
afternoon causing difficult travel. Many roads are already in
poor condition with compacted snow and ice, so this will only
exacerbate conditions.

* Snow accumulations: 5-8 inches at Lolo and lookout passes, with
less at lower elevations.

* Locations impacted include: Elk River, Highway 11 Pierce to
Headquarters, Pierce, Dixie, Elk City, Highway 12 Lowell to
Lolo Pass, Evaro hill, Highway 200 Thompson Falls to plains,
Highway 200 Trout Creek to Heron, I-90 Lookout Pass to Haugan,
Highway 93 Sula to Lost Trail Pass, and Lolo Pass
