... Showers and isolated weak thunderstorms to affect portions of
central and southwest Montana through early this evening...

At 431 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking intensifying showers over
portions of central and southwest Montana. The strongest showers were
located near East Helena and over northern Madison County. These
showers were moving northeast at 20 mph and have the potential to
produce isolated lightning through 6pm MST. A brief burst of rain
or rain mixed with snow and ice pellets is possible at lower
elevations as these Showers Pass with a quick burst of moderate snow
possible at elevations above 6000 feet. Travelers should be alert
for quickly changing conditions in the vicinity of these showers
through early this evening.

Bozeman, Helena, Townsend, Boulder, White Sulphur Springs, Sheridan,
Virginia City, Belgrade, East Helena, Three Forks, Manhattan,
Whitehall, Ennis, Twin Bridges, Pony, Montana City, Alder, Silver
