Issued: 12:24 PM MST Feb. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Flood Watch remains in effect through Monday afternoon...

The Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of northeast Montana along the Yellowstone river,
including the following areas, Dawson and Richland counties.

* Through Monday afternoon

* ice is breaking up and flowing along the Yellowstone river,
causing ice jams. Ice jams can bring quickly rising water

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
