... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight MDT
tonight...

* impacts... heavy, wet snow will make for difficult travel
conditions with poor visibility. Roads will be snow packed this
morning, becoming wet and slushy by afternoon. Downed tree
branches and power outages are possible. Young livestock may be
at risk.

* Timing... the heavy wet snow will continue through morning,
gradually tapering off through the afternoon and evening.

* Snow accumulation... reports of 5 to 10 inches have been received
as of 9 am. An additional 2 to 4 inches is expected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Reduced visibility in areas of snow and fog on slick or slushy
roadways will make travel hazardous. Residents should also make
sure supplies are hand should there be power outages.
