... Winter Storm Warning in effect from 11 PM this evening to
11 am MST Friday...

The National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a Winter
Storm Warning for snow... which is in effect from 11 PM this
evening to 11 am MST Friday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer
in effect.

* Expect snow to develop late tonight and then diminish Friday
morning.

* The heaviest snowfall will occur during the day on Thursday.

* Total snow accumulations of 7 to 13 inches are expected, with
the higher amounts farther south.

* Look for significant reductions in visibility at times.

* Travel will be very difficult to impossible... especially during
the morning and evening commutes on Thursday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected. If you must travel... keep an extra
