Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 4:05 AM CST Dec. 5, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to
9 am CST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 6 PM this
evening to 9 am CST Tuesday.

* Locations... the Minnesota arrowhead region... including Grand
Marais... Silver Bay... Two Harbors and Isabella.

* Timing... 6 PM this evening through 9 am Tuesday.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 6 inches.

* Visibilities... as low as a half mile at times tonight.

* Impacts... snow will increase rapidly late today and during the
evening. The rapid snow accumulation is expected to make roads
very slippery in a short period of time.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that accumulating snow
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads
and reduced visibility... and use caution while driving. Allow
extra time to reach your destination.
