... Winter Storm Watch now in effect from late tonight through
Saturday morning...

* locations... northwest Wisconsin and Pine County in east
central Minnesota.

* Snow accumulations... 6 to 12 inches, most likely over price,
Ashland, Iron, and portions of Sawyer counties.

* Winds... north 10 to 20 mph with gusts 25 to 30 mph. Winds will
be stronger close to Lake Superior.

* Visibilities... less than one half mile in the heavier snow.

* Impacts... the heavy snow will make travel difficult.
