... Lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 3 PM CST
Friday...

* locations... northern portions of Bayfield and Ashland
counties... including the cities of Washburn... Bayfield and
Ashland.

* Timing... the most intense snow will be overnight... with light
snow lingering through Friday.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 5 inches... locally higher amounts
possible at higher elevations.

* Winds... northwest 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Visibilities... as low as a quarter mile at times.

* Impacts... the heavy snow will make many roads impassable and
may produce power outages due to the weight of the snow on
tree limbs and power lines.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake effect Snow Advisory Means Lake-effect snow is forecast
that will make travel difficult in some areas. Lake-effect snow
showers typically align themselves in bands and will likely be
intense enough to drop several inches in localized areas. Use
caution when traveling.
