... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST
Saturday...

* timing... moderate to heavy snow will continue through the
day... with the heavier accumulation this morning around Eau
Claire.

* Additional snow accumulations... 3 to 6 inches are expected
through the evening hours, with the highest totals from near Red
Wing to Eau Claire.

* Winds... north 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph resulting in
areas of blowing and drifting snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
