... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until noon CST Friday...

* snow showers will increase this morning. Periods of snow
showers... heavy at times... will continue into Friday morning.

* The heaviest snowfall is expected to occur today and this
evening.

* Total snow accumulation will range from 8 to 12 inches in the
snowbelt of northwest Vilas County... to 2 to 4 inches in The
Eagle river area.

* Blustery northwest winds will produce some blowing and drifting
of the snow.

* The snow and blowing and drifting snow will lead to difficult
travel conditions.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy lake-effect snow means severe
winter weather conditions are expected. If you travel... be sure
to have a working flashlight... food... and water in your vehicle
