... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 3 am Thursday to
noon CST Friday...

* scattered snow showers and flurries are expected through
tonight. Heavier snow showers will develop late tonight. Periods
of snow showers... heavy at times... will continue to mid-day
Friday.

* The heaviest snowfall is expected to occur during the day on
Thursday.

* Total snow accumulation will range from 8 to 12 inches in the
snowbelt of northwest Vilas County... to 2 to 4 inches in The
Eagle river area.

* Blustery northwest winds will produce some blowing and drifting
of the fluffy type of snow.

* Impacts... the snow will lead to difficult travel conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy lake-effect snow means severe
winter weather conditions are expected. If you travel... be sure
to have a working flashlight... food... and water in your vehicle
