Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 3:15 PM CST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6 am CST Saturday...
... Winter Storm Warning is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow, which is in effect until 6 am CST
Saturday. The Winter Storm Warning has been cancelled.

* Periods of snow can be expected tonight before gradually
tapering off toward daybreak.

* Additional snow accumulation of 2 to 3 inches is expected.

* Hazardous travel is expected through tonight. The combination of
snow and blustery north to northwest winds will create some
blowing and drifting of the snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause some travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The
latest Wisconsin Road conditions can be obtained by calling 511.

Special Statement
Issued: 4:47 PM CST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Hazardous driving conditions during the evening commute...

A mix of freezing drizzle and light snow is currently falling
across much of northeast Wisconsin late this afternoon. The
freezing drizzle is starting to accumulate on elevated surfaces
and area roadways. This icy accumulation will make the evening
commute hazardous, especially on secondary and untreated roadways.
These roadways will be slippery, travel with caution and allow
extra time to reach your destination this evening.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for these areas
tonight.
