Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 11:47 AM CST Mar. 1, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening.

* Timing... moderate to sometimes heavy snow is expected into early
this afternoon, becoming lighter before diminishing during the
middle afternoon to early evening hours. Patchy blowing snow is
also expected later this afternoon and early evening.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 6 inches, with highest amounts toward
Montello, Princeton, Fond Du Lac, and Sheboygan.

* Winds... northwest increasing to 15 to 25 mph for a time this
afternoon and early evening. A few gusts to 30 mph.

* Impacts... the snow will cause slushy roads into this afternoon.
The snow will also reduce visibility values down to 1/2 to 1/4
mile at times early this afternoon, before gradually improving.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
