* Until Saturday morning.
* At 10:30 am Sunday the stage was 12.2 feet, and rising.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Recent activity... the river has been steadily rising over the past 24
hours.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Monday, and continue rising to
15.6 feet Wednesday. Fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
* Impact... at 16.0 feet, water is over the campground and boat ramp
in Keithsburg.

* Recent activity... the river has been steadily rising over the past 24
hours.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage Tuesday morning, and continue
rising to 16.6 feet Thursday morning. Fall below flood stage
Saturday evening.
* Impact... at 17.0 feet, water affects the port of Burlington
parking lot.

Sigourney, Iowa to Kewanee, Illinois line. Heat index readings of
95 to 100 are expected this afternoon before a cold front moves
through the area.

If you work or spend time outside today, wear light weight and
loose fitting clothing when possible, take frequent breaks, and
drink plenty of water.

One more hot and humid day is in store for areas south of a
Sigourney, Iowa to Kewanee, Illinois line. Heat index readings of
