Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 3:26 PM CST Jan. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect from midnight tonight to noon CST
Friday...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect from midnight tonight to noon
CST Friday.

* Timing... patchy fog will start developing prior to midnight but
will become more widespread after midnight.

* Impacts... visibilities under 1/4 mile at times in dense fog will
lead to dangerous driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
